For the forthcoming Crematoria<\/strong> The South Bohemian Theatre Ballet, which is being staged as part of the festival Southern Character<\/strong>, Alena Pe\u0161kov\u00e1 led the auditions for dancers.<\/p>\n

The casting process followed a specific working method based on her workshop The Body in Emotion and Emotion in the Body<\/strong> \u2013 this time in an abridged form and tailored specifically to the needs of the forthcoming production.<\/p>\n

Working with the body, emotions, expression and the ability to react immediately to a situation has demonstrated just how remarkably adaptable and open-minded the dancers of the South Bohemian Theatre Ballet are. It is precisely their flexibility as performers and in their movement that has become a key starting point for further work on the production.<\/p>\n
