As the name ( UMB ) of the association suggests...its intention is to achieve maximum effect on the audience using minimal means...it does not mind minimal space, minimal music, minimal number of dancers...on the contrary, on this basis it builds and presents to the audience modern expressive ballet with all its attributes - dancing on "tiptoe", classical ballet technique combined with modern ones...all in a refined way so that it reveals to the audience the different theatrical and choreographic procedures. In both theatrical (full-length dance theatre) and non-theatrical (festivals, openings...) spaces.

UMB had its debut on 28 May 2008 in the Blues Cellar ( 5 m2) in collaboration with the young composer Petr Wajsar. Choreographed by Alena Pešková, the dancers performed National Theatre Zuzana Šimáková and Olexander Kysil together with the author. Now it is composer, singer, actress and quintet player Gabriela Vermelho who has prepared the music for another UMB premiere, the dance horror Jessie and Morgiana. On stage we can see Petra Padrianova (formerly David Campos company - Barcelona), Marek Kašparovský (State Opera Prague) and Martin Gebauer (State Opera Prague).
