In October, we'll have the first premiere of The Nutcracker? Can you tell us something about it?
Well, it's not so much a "classic"...with 14 people on stage...? It's more of a Nutcracker. It's also subtitled, "A child's dream for our age. It's set in the present. Uncle Drosselmayer is also the host of Clara's Dreams. Clara is truly a dreamer. She is delighted when she finds a wooden toy under a tree, while her peers are delighted with laptops, mobile phones and "empétrojes". Clara's parents then get a new plasma TV. When Clara falls asleep she has the power to turn all the negative news from around the world that her parents watch into magical dances of nations. And so live dancers emerge from the huge "plasma" with projections, and Clara herself becomes a real ballerina, Marie, and dances a - now really "classic" - pas de deux with her Nutcracker.
