The first public rehearsal for the new project took place in Český Krumlov Corpse Incinerator Based on the novel by Ladislav Fuks. This immersive, site-specific performative walk, directed and choreographed by Alena Pešková, is being staged at Port 1560 and combines dance, physical theatre and a horror atmosphere.
The dress rehearsal was also attended by Tereza from Davle, a renowned photographer and a close friend of Alena Pešková.
Alena Pešková, together with her brother, a set designer, spoke about the project by Richard Pešek, they also spoke about it on the podcast Siren Test.
The interview took place after one of their night-time rehearsals and provides an insight into their collaborative work on the production, as well as the unique atmosphere of the creative process taking place on the premises of the former Krumlov brewery.
